One of our regular clients has just been duped by Uk safety management. After contacting them for our annual re-book we got this response.
“Turns out my colleague got a call from another company who came in to do our testing last week. I’m rather annoyed as they lied and told her that they had done our testing last year. What’s more they were more expensive than you. I’m really sorry about this. We will definitely go back to using you again next year.”
After some research it appears these guys run a pretty ruthless operation from Leeds with 300 sales people trained into tricking companies into switching to them for PAT testing. Techniques such as “the company you usually use have gone bust” or the classic label date con have all re-appeared after Nationwide electrical safety went bust owing £1m they simply changed names and re-launched using the same techniques. Truly a wolf in sheep’s clothing!! Anyway just thought I would blog about this, with 300 sales people churning out calls all day they must get the odd sale. We also had a call from a PAT tester who used to work for them last week who said he was tired of turning up on jobs and the contact asked if he was from the regular PAT testing firm and getting abused from the client for deceiving them. WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS!!!
